Mornings
Coffee & breakfast
Meia tosta with butter, a ham and cheese croissant, the full English, or the Portuguese one: scrambled eggs, a toastie, a pastel de nata and a coffee.

Sabores que acolhem, momentos que ficam.
From breakfast through to dinner
In the morning we are a café: toast, hot bifanas and the smell of coffee just pulled. In the evening we are a Portuguese table — francesinha, bacalhau, picanha, and a jug of house wine.

Porto's own: steak, ham and sausage under melted cheese, drowned in sauce, chips alongside.
A thick cod loin roasted with olive oil and garlic, with smashed potatoes.
Roasted octopus, tender inside and charred at the tips, with olive oil, garlic and potatoes.

The name
Morabeza is a Cape Verdean Creole word, and it does not translate cleanly into any other language. The closest anyone gets is the art of welcome — a warmth so complete that a stranger leaves feeling like family. It is why the place is called what it is called, and it is printed on the boards for anyone who wants to know what they have walked into.
